What will I study?

Our Online learning Platform contains 6 modules related to the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to start your Montessori journey. After completing each module, you will be given an online test and a written assignment, which will be marked and returned by your dedicated mentor.

• The Montessori theory and who is Dr. Montessori?
• Practical Life and all the activities to implement in your nursery or at home.
• Sensorial activities and the reasoning behind it.
• The Montessori method for Language and all the Language materials
• Mathematics Montessori materials up to the age of 5 years old
• The Cultural materials

What can I do with this qualification?

This Course counts as 40 credits to the Montessori Diploma if you want to complete it in the future and become a qualified Montessori Teacher. This will need to combined with an Early Years Educator Level 3 to be counted in ratios. Upon completion, the Online Course qualification will allow learners to work in a Montessori setting supporting a Montessori Teacher. We advise all students to progress to the Level 3 Early Years Educator as well as the Montessori Diploma.

No prior qualifications are required.

When can I start?

We enrol on the 1st of every calendar month. Once your payment has been received, we will send your enrolment documents, as well as your login details.

How long will my certificate be valid for?

Once you have been awarded your certificate, it is valid for life and internationally recognised. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.

MAA Montessori Online Course graduates have the knowledge and skills needed by the Montessori community to work in a Montessori setting supporting a Montessori Teacher. This Online Course counts as 40 credits to the Montessori Diploma course. We advise all students to progress to the Level 3 Early Years Educator as well as the Montessori Diploma. This Online Course is a CPD Accredited qualification awarded by Montessori Apprentice Academy and approved by CPD.
